What is your goal?

 Motivation is important to all of us. It is really linked to our interests and hobbies, and also to concepts such as self-discipline and self-confidence.

You should be able to set your own goals. That will save you a lot of time. And it will set you free.

It is important to know your opinion about your level of English, yes. But it is also important to know what your level actually is right know,  without studying, with no exams and after a long summer. That will help me as a teacher, and you as student.

In the next class we will try to set our own learning objectives as a class, taking into account your level, the aspects you need to improve and...In order to get that information, 

We will be working on an online English test by the University of Pablo de Olavide. Please, follow the instructions below:

1. Take the online English test, send me the results by email (I gave it to you in the previous lesson).
2. Have a careful look at your mistakes and doubts and write a short essay (300 words) about the own goals concerning the English language and how you can reach them. 

I will post a summary of the most popular objectives over here, so we all remember them during the course. 

At the end of the trimester, you all will be able to pass this test above 70% so we can start the next step toward the First Certificate. Challenging, right? 

Finally, if you have some time left, here you go another English test, in this case by the International House.  Fill the form and choose Spain- Madrid as location. Take it and send the results to me if you want. But compare the results with the other test. Are they equal?
